“It is an extremely exciting time to be in the IHBA, we have a long way to go, but we are experiencing meaningful engagement with government, the banking sector and other relevant bodies after a long period of stagnation in the home building industry,” Anthony Neville said.

Mr Neville previously served as IHBA Vice-chairman under outgoing Chair Hugh O’Neill.  Mr Neville established Anthony Neville homes in 2008, building on over 25 years’ experience in the homebuilding sector.  Anthony Neville Homes currently works across Ireland and the UK and employs approx. 250 people.

As a member of the CIF South Eastern Branch Anthony Neville has a unique understanding of the issues facing home builders in both provincial and urban areas.

“I am a provincial builder that works in Dublin, so I am in a good position to represent our members across Ireland and I am deeply aware of the varying issues facing members working in these areas,” Anthony Neville said. “Overall however, the cost of building is a major issue across the board and is having a huge effect on our members ability to deliver much needed homes.  We are working tirelessly with the CIC Technical Housing Group to identify the excessive costs related to the delivery of homes and streamlining processes with regard to planning, regulation and finance.”
