Sigma Homes are a client-focused Design and Build team based in Cork that specialises in one of a kind extensions, remodelling projects. By focusing on taking away the stresses of the design and construction process Sigma Homes have been giving clients homes that are above and beyond any expectation. To get a better idea about what makes them so different, we spoke to Patrick O’Brien, contract manager, and he had this to say.
“From the moment someone comes into us, their concerns are ours and we are there to talk them through every stage of building their home. Our reputation for delivering an amazing product has only come through hard work, imagination and fantastic clients. Our portfolio demonstrates the very best of what both a construction and design company can provide, all within the clients budget and timescale.”
One of the main reasons Sigma Homes’ reputation continues to grow is their ability to consistently delivery their projects on or ahead of time. This only happens because of the team at Sigma Homes experience and enthusiasm. By ensuring the clients requirements stays central to all project planning the end result always exceeds the client’s expectations while still being within the agreed budget. Sigma Homes guarantee they will finish your project quicker than their competitors. How can they do that you ask?
“Our average project runs between 12 to 14 weeks, that’s 35% quicker than a traditional construction company. By having our design team help the client select all the interior finishes and fixtures before we even start on site we not only speed up the onsite work but also ensure they remain in complete control of the costs. We are so confident in the end result we offer a full ten-year warranty on all our work and we stand by everything we do.”
Every client’s project is special to Sigma Homes and giving something unique to every client is why over 20,000 people a week will view their Facebook looking to see the next design they will come up with.
Sigma Homes portfolio on www.sigmahomes.ie showcases their attention to detail and the level of design they bring to every project. While being design centric Patrick O’Brien was keen to point out that every time a new proposal is presented to the client a cost for each element is available to allow them to make proper value judgements on every aspect of their project.
“We get a client excited about an idea while discussing the costs and ensuring they are getting value from what we are presenting. Through every step of the process our aim is to maximise potential while staying within budget.”
From speaking to Patrick, it was obvious how important each and every client is to them. They complete over 40 bespoke projects a year, all while making the customer feel like they are unique and important. Here’s what some Sigma Homes clients had to say about their experience with the company.
“I was very impressed by their attention to detail, their thinking outside the box and how they listened to what it was I wanted out of the extension.” – Ciara McGlade
“I found Sigma Homes very, very good to deal with, they have been very approachable, they are a nice bunch of lads and we will actually miss them.” – Kieran Donnelly
“Their workmanship was incredible. When it came to the snag list nothing was too big, nothing was too small. Every single detail, they took as seriously as if it was their own house, they were just an incredible bunch to work with.” – Irene Galvin
“I have absolutely no problem in recommending them, and that to me doesn’t come easy. I would be very critical and I find them excellent.” – Michael Bolan
“All of the Sigma team were fantastic, but that included every tradesman and everybody who worked on site. They were extremely conscious and respectful.” – Donal Downey
“…It all sounds to be good to be true. They are as good as they say they are and probably even better.” – Helen Murray
With Sigma Homes, there is a sense that the company is about a whole lot more than just trying to make money for themselves. Last Christmas, they went beyond their call of duty when one of the contract managers was listening to the Neil Prendeville on Red FM. Patrick takes up the story from here.
“We had heard of Baby Kate through a radio interview. Kate was very ill and needed her home adapted to cater for the treatment she needed. It was revealed that Kate’s mum Lisa had been told it was impossible due to the existing house design and site conditions. However, given our experience we felt we might be able to help.”
The dramatic alternative Sigma Homes proposed relocated Kate’s living quarters up onto the first floor; providing her with a large glazed window view and a door accessing the rear garden. Kate has an en-suite wet-room with the facilities to cover all future needs. More importantly it gave Kate and her whole family a better standard of living. Given the unique nature of the situation Sigma Homes were delighted to complete this complex design and building project free of charge.
Neil Prendeville of RED FM had this to say about the project: “Seeing it on plans and seeing it on drawings is one thing, but when you actually experience it first-hand and you walk onto the site it’s completely different.
“The amount of work, the attention to detail that’s going into it. It’s just incredible, it really and truly is.
“If I ever need an extension or I need a house built, I’m going to get Sigma Homes to do it.”
True to his word Sigma Homes started an extension and remodel project for Neil in September.
Sigma Homes should be excited about 2019. They already have a roster of unique projects booked in for starting and with their direct workforce of over 100 people on site and a 15 strong design team in the office to back them up they are setup for many more.
Hopefully you might be lucky enough to get them to complete your dream home.
