Established in 2000, Comfort Air Conditioning is 100% Irish owned and is an authorised agent for the supply and installation of Mitsubishi, Toshiba and Daikin products.
Whether it be from a single split type unit suitable for restaurants, comms rooms, stand-alone offices to larger multi systems suitable for office block and multi room applications, these three major manufacturers are the market leaders in the field of air conditioning in terms of performance, reliability and economic performance and Comfort Air Conditioning Ltd is proud to be affiliated with them.
Their dedicated team is committed to using only the best equipment and, as technology has evolved, so have they.
“There are always new challenges within the ever changing air conditioning industry,” explained Managing Director Mick Curran. “Every day practically presents a new challenge and, as a company, we ensure that we are always up to speed with the latest developments in the industry.”
Mick boasts a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry. He learned the tricks of the trade when serving his time with a well-known air conditioning company before departing for Chicago in 1994. He returned home five years later and took the brave step of setting up his own business.
“We were a small operation at the start but growth soon followed. We work in conjunction with the end user, mechanical contractors and consulting engineers on air conditioning and ventilation solutions.
“We have two crews on the go at the minute and have the capacity to go bigger but we currently have the luxury of being in a position to offer our clients’ competitive prices because we don’t have the overheads that larger companies do. Our work is mainly concentrated in and around the Dublin area but we are happy to travel and have done so in the past. Our client base continues to grow.”
A life-long business relationship is built upon customer satisfaction and this is only achieved by completing the project on schedule, finishing the installation so it integrates flawlessly with its surroundings and providing an overall service that is second to none and excellent value for money.
Their location in Dublin gives Comfort Air Conditioning the advantage of an excellent road network enabling them to deliver the best service to any part of the country.
“We would look after a lot of well-known hotels in the Dublin area in terms of service, maintenance and installation,” Mick revealed. “Under the umbrella of Mercury Engineering, we’re currently working on a three VFR installation in Connolly Hospital while we are also working on a changing out of three old R22s at Westwood Gym in Sandymount, supplying conditioned air to the gym area and surrounding studios.”
Designed for multi room applications such as hotels and office buildings, the VRF / City-Multi systems are highly energy efficient, cost effective and with a variety of indoor units to choose from, can be applied to any present day building application.
With a single outdoor unit the VRF / City-Multi system can operate multiple indoor units, can offer individual control with simultaneous heating and cooling available to each indoor unit.
?The technology of City-Multi / VRF systems offers the merits of flexible installation, ultra quiet operation and all combined with a reliable performance and quality that Comfort Air’s clients expect from their services.
Meanwhile, to suit their clients’ needs and to ensure that their equipment runs to optimum performance, Comfort Air Conditioning can offer a maintenance contract that will guarantee maximum savings in running costs and equipment life expectancy.
They have qualified trained personal that will work around your schedules, your office opening hours and maximize your uptime to prevent any unnecessary unplanned interruptions to your business.
“Business has picked up substantially as you can imagine,” Mick replied when asked: how business is going at the moment? “The recession was quite tough. We had to cut our cloth accordingly and offer reduced rates. Thankfully, from our point of view, a lot of our clients stuck with us and we are out the far side of it now.”
Mick and his team are driven to satisfy each and every customer. Whether it is a consulting engineer at the design stage or the end user, it is their goal to complete every project to a high standard with satisfied customers.
From the very start honesty, integrity and excellent customer service has always been their goal. As a consequence, they always place the customer’s best interest at the forefront of each and every installation or service call they perform.
They strive to build a life-long business relationship with each customer and look forward to providing their clients’ with many years of honest and reliable service.
