Celebrating 10 years in business, Maor Scaffolding Ltd is one of Ireland’s leading scaffolding companies. A commitment to high quality workmanship, service, safety and value-for-money ensures the firm continues to go from strength to strength.

Maor Scaffolding was founded in 2006 by Joe O’Riordan (managing director) and Thomas Magan (director) who between them have over 50 years’ experience in the scaffolding sector. The company relocated to Kingswood Cross, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 five years ago after outgrowing its original premises in Straffan, Co. Kildare.

Scaffolding is an essential part of any construction job. With teams operating across Ireland, with particular knowledge and expertise in Leinster, Maor Scaffolding can ensure that you complete your project safely, professionally, on time and within budget.

The company, which employs upwards of 100 staff, carries out work in a host of different environments. Its projects range from commercial and industrial to residential and historical. Maor Scaffolding has erected scaffolding in factories, castles and housing estates – no job is too big or too small. The company’s dedication to high quality workmanship, excellent safety standards and prompt service is brought to bear on every project.

Recognising that no scaffolding job is the same, Maor Scaffolding’s extensive experience, knowledge and training allows it to adapt its scaffolding to best suit the needs of each individual project. The firm’s tailor-made, client-focused service ensures you get exactly what you want from your scaffolding at the most competitive price. It is fully equipped to meet your scaffolding requirements in any environment.

“We’re currently working on about 50 different jobs. The Irish market is buoyant at the moment,” enthuses Joe O’Riordan, whose company bucked the trend by growing through the recession.

“Our customers vary from large-scale commercial developers to home owners. Our client-base includes some of Ireland’s biggest construction and demolition companies – the likes of PJ Hegarty, Sisk Builders, Collen Construction, Balfour Beatty, Hegarty Demolition, Tinnelly Demolition, HA O’Neil Mechanical, Stewart Building Contractors, Leo Lynch & Co and Ardmac.”

Maor Scaffolding is dedicated to providing the best service for its clients, ensuring a safe working environment for their workers as well as its own. The company employs a full-time safety officer, John Agar, who makes sure the highest safety standard on all scaffolding projects is reached, and that all staff members are fully trained in the best health and safety practices.

Maor Scaffolding’s qualified and trusted scaffold erectors have comprehensive experience and training in scaffolding and safety. The company regularly re-trains staff to ensure their scaffolding skills are kept as sharp as possible. Maor uses its own fleet of vehicles to transport materials, ensuring that scaffolding is erected, dismantled and removed efficiently and professionally.

“The safety of our staff, customers and that of the public is our highest priority. Our ability to consistently deliver safe access solutions to the client on-site is the result of a dedicated business process,” the affable managing director adds.

Maor Scaffolding can help with all your scaffolding needs in a commercial environment. Quick, efficient work is crucial when operating in such an environment. The company recognises the need for an innovative and safe approach to commercial projects, as previous clients can attest.

Maor also recognises the need for scaffolding in the industrial sector to be clean, safe and efficient, and that it cannot interfere with the everyday operation of the company. In addition, it regularly brings its scaffolding solutions to the residential sector, working with leading Irish construction firms to build safe and comfortable homes. The scaffolding expert has also been involved in various historical building projects. The set of scaffolding skills necessary to carry out such delicate, specialised work can only be found at Maor Scaffolding.

The company has worked on a wide variety of projects in the past decade. It provided scaffolding during the construction of the Aviva Stadium and the Central Criminal Court in Dublin. Other high-profile contracts it has been associated with included the new Guinness Brewhouse at St. James’ Gate, Sandyford Business Park, the GPO, Mater Hospital extension and Humewood Castle.

The Maor Scaffolding team worked alongside leading construction firms to bring the bustling Sandyford Business Park to completion. Large-scale scaffolding erection was essential to keep the project running smoothly. As a proud Irish company, Maor has been privileged to work on a number of projects to preserve the iconic GPO on Dublin’s O’Connell Street. The Mater Hospital project required keen awareness of the working environment – the busy hospital setting required an innovative approach to scaffolding.

The renovation of the 19th century Humewood Castle provided Maor Scaffolding with one of its most challenging projects due to the age and architectural complexity of the building. But the company’s expertise, equipment and attention to detail meant it was able to carry out this project efficiently, safely and professionally.

Maor Scaffolding has also successfully completed scaffolding projects at Dublin Airport, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Boland’s Mill, Pfizer Ireland in Newbridge, Tullamore Dew Visitor Centre and Walsh Whiskey Distillery in Carlow. For all your scaffolding requirements, make sure to get in touch.
