Established in 2018, Inline Construction Ltd in Skerries, Co. Dublin has earned an enviable reputation for high-end residential and commercial projects, from new builds and deep retrofits to all types of housing developments. As well as providing a full main contractor service, the company also specialises in property maintenance, facilities management, fitouts and refurbishment.
Inline Construction is owned and operated by Ciaran Devlin and Jim Briscoe, who had worked together in Vancouver before returning home to Ireland to set up their own business. Ciaran is a carpenter by trade who has nearly 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. During his seven years in Vancouver, he managed projects for one of the most renowned high-end contractors in Canada.
A quantity surveyor by profession, Jim spent four years in the US managing residential and commercial projects, and a further two years working in West Vancouver overseeing the construction of high-end homes. Inline Construction is the coming together of a wealth of high-end construction experience in the greater Dublin area over a wide range of projects.
The contractor’s goal is to improve and increase the function of your building, home, or business, making it a beautiful and well-designed space. From the first consultation, Ciaran and Jim start wrapping their experience, systems, and schedules around your plans. They fully understand that this is your project and are delighted to be central in making your vision a reality.
“We’re a one-stop shop for all your construction needs,” Ciaran explains.
“We look after everything from the initial tender to completion. Our huge experience and skill-set are your guarantee that you get the exact end project that you are looking for.”
Since its inception, Inline Construction has developed a strong reputation of professionalism and integrity across all of the projects it has worked on. The company’s motto is ‘Innovate Design, Construct Quality’. It adheres to this by delivering an exceptional end product using the very best technology and materials.
Superior workmanship, attention to detail, value-for-money and a commitment to working closely with clients to deliver total satisfaction are the hallmarks of Inline Construction. Health & Safety is at the core of the business, and never more so since the Covid-19 pandemic. From concept to completion, the Inline team is with you every step of the way, ensuring that your new project is designed and built to your specific needs, and that there are no hidden or extra costs involved.
Whether your next project is a new build, extension or fitout, Inline’s one-stop shop approach will ensure that both the design and building processes are smooth, comfortable and hassle-free. Inline’s reputation for quality construction and ability to complete projects on time and within the agreed budget is borne out by the high volume of repeat business and referrals it receives from design teams and scores of satisfied clients.
By employing highly-skilled tradespeople, working closely with its engineers and architects, and using only the very best building products, this fully insured and qualified contractor is able to deliver the highest quality construction to its clients.
Ciaran and Jim employ 10 people directly comprising carpenters, labourers and customer service personnel. They are supported by the same tried and trusted subcontractors, including Dwyer Electrical, Traditional Lime Plastering, Maynooth Heating & Plumbing, Rationel Windows, Vindr VS Roof Lights, KTF Timber Framing, GRP Roofing and National Roofing & Cladding.
Terence Woods Architects, Fingal Planning Consultants, Tyler Owens Architects and Dan Shanahan Design are just some of the architects Inline Construction collaborates with on a regular basis, while its main suppliers are Murdock’s, Wogan’s and CORE.
“We only build quality buildings while providing great attention to our customers’ questions and expectations along the way,” Ciaran says.
“We work closely with a carefully selected team of experienced subcontractors and suppliers to make sure your project is built to both your and our high standards. We also make sure that the design and construction phases of your new project are stress-free and time efficient.
“We put a big focus on customer service and customer experience. Cost management and quality are top of our agenda. Ensuring that you don’t go over budget is critical, especially when you’re dealing with high-end projects and also at a time when the cost of many materials is at an all-time high.”
Inline Construction’s projects range from deep retrofits, extensions and commercial office renovations to office maintenance. The company undertakes about a dozen projects a year. Some of its finest work can be found at Westward, Howth and Shenick Avenue in Sherries.
“With the Howth project, we left two of the original walls and rebuilt a 2,800 sq. ft. contemporary home, bringing its BER energy rating up to ‘A2’ in the process. The project in Skerries achieved an even higher BER rating of ‘A1’ following a full deep retrofit and extension. Both homes are architecturally beautiful thanks to the input of Tyler Owens and Terence Woods respectively.”
Committed to helping their clients achieve a flexible and innovative approach to the design and construction process, Ciaran and Jim would like to take this opportunity to thank their clients, suppliers and architects for their continued support as well as their staff and subcontractors for their hard work, dedication and skill.
