The processes that Arc Engineering use include detailing and design using the latest 3D CAD Solutions providing a highly efficient CAD drafting service to the construction industry in all sectors, including fabricators, engineers, architects and main contractors. Arc also employs high level, up to date Programming, management and tracking, using sophisticated cloud based bespoke software.
The company’s facilities in Foulksmills consist of a fully furnished machine shop with CNC brake press, guillotine, rolls, Digi bender, iron workers, robotic welder, CNC saws, drills, grinding and polishing gear.
Arc can provide laser, waterjet and plasma profiling services. In addition, the fabrication shop is equipped with the latest welders and all their equipment are tested in compliance with the relevant EN standard.
All fabricators are fully trained and have a clear understanding of what is required of them to produce quality products. Fabrication drawings are issued for all projects and each assembled piece is traceable from the fabricator to the draughtsman.
Products/Services provided by Arc Engineering include, Mild, stainless steel and aluminium welding, Profile cutting, Folding, Bending and Rolling, Punching, Drilling and Milling. They also provide galvanising, powder coating, painted, Lacquered, Anodised or polished Finishes.
All of the firm’s site installations are project-managed from start to finish to ensure a high quality finished end product.
Arc’s site installation team are fully trained and have years of experience for all site conditions. Method statements and risk assessments are completed for each project and are fully adhered to by all employees.
Health & Safety is paramount to Arc Engineering and its employees, with all Arc Engineering employees holding relevant safety training certificates.

BMS (Bristol-Myers Squibb) with Mac Interiors:
Jacobs were the architects on the project and Arc Engineering worked closely with them & Mac Interiors to ensure the clients requirements were met.
The main parts of this project was Glass balustrades to 2 atriums and a Feature stairs.
NUIM college with JJ Rhatigan’s, in conjunction with the architects Heneghan Peng:
This project is a student accommodation block where stairs balustrades and Oak handrails were installed by Arc. Galvanised and finish painted architectural mesh panels were also used to clad some structures on site.
Oracle with Mac Interiors:
Architects for this project were Meehan Associates. This project was a refurbishment of 2no. Blocks and work included 4no. double floor atriums with freestanding glass balustrades and powder coated aluminium panels and 2no. feature stairs in two of the atriums. Stairs were double flight cantilevered with freestanding glass balustrades and clad with powder coated aluminium panels on the fascia and soffits.
Arc Engineering is currently working on an extension in Beaumont Hospital with Stewarts Construction and is working closely with architects McCauley Daye O’Connell on developing the balustrade design in line with the design intent. This project involves a steel feature stairs & bleachers along with a large span bridge structure. Also currently in progression at Arc Engineering Ltd is work on Hanover Quay with Bennett Construction. This project entails 3 stairs cores with mild steel powder coated balustrades with perforated panel infills, all complete with SS handrail to balustrade & adjoining wall. The Design team at Arc Engineering have developed the concept from the architect’s drawings, RKD and produced a detailed design for the architect’s approval.
