“I’m a carpenter / joiner by trade who carried out my training with ANCO on the Dock Road in Limerick. I spent six years with Michael Molumphy in Thurles before working as a foreman with Willie Gleeson in Upperchurch for 13 years. I then decided to go out on my own as a roofing contractor which led me into main contracting.”

Hayde Construction’s main suppliers are Munster Joinery, Stakelums Home & Hardware in Thurles, Ronayne Homevalue Hardware in Thurles, Gleeson Quarries and HD Design – Bespoke Cabinet Makers in Fethard. The contractor’s regular architects / engineers are Liam Judge Engineering, Ryan Architectural Solutions (RAS) and Cummins Voortman Architects. 

Business is flying for Martin who currently has six projects on his books, including two two-storey new builds in Killenaule and Ballycahill/Holycross, and a new clubhouse consisting of four new dressing rooms for Boherlahan-Dualla GAA club. The company’s collaborative approach means it can offer a turnkey construction service to take care of every last detail. As the main contractor, Hayde Construction provides full project management solutions and oversees all stages of the build. 

“We’ll do whatever the client requests. If they want a full turnkey service, we’ll provide it,” Martin continues. 

“We aim to make every client feel at ease and welcome any questions they may have. From initial requirements through to completion and aftercare, we act as the sole point of contact throughout the project, thus simplifying the entire construction process. We pride ourselves on our aftercare service as much as anything else.”
