Its specialist installation team supplies and installs a broad range of equipment to suit your project. The company ensures all systems are installed efficiently prior to commissioning, and carries out site visits before commencing your project.

Crosbie Group’s maintenance services can save you money on all your refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. It offers maintenance contracts to suit all clients to ensure your equipment works at its optimum performance and efficiently by implementing regular maintenance checks. This is carried out by professional service technicians. Crosbie’s comprehensive service and maintenance agreement is designed to reduce the possibility of breakdown, reduce utility and repair bills, to provide fast and effective breakdown service 24/7 as well as competitively priced packages and ensure increased equipment life expectancy. All services are regulator compliant.

The company supplies, installs and commissions multiple refrigeration systems in supermarkets and retail centres, including cold rooms, supermarket cases, ice machines, island freezer cases, bottle coolers, temperature control system, beer cooling systems, serve overs, dual temperature cabinets, chillers, blast chillers, pack systems and gycol systems.

Crosbie Group is an official D1+ Premium Partner with Daikin and offers up to seven years warranty on all parts providing you have a yearly maintenance contract. Furthermore, the Dublin-based company is an accredited Mitsubishi Air Conditioning installer and can offer up to seven years warranty on all Mitsubishi parts providing you have a yearly maintenance contract. The same applies to Samsung Air Conditioning systems that are supplied and installed by Wayne and his team.

Ventilation, Mechanical & Electrical – which is a rapidly expanding area for the company – facilities management and 24-hour emergency service are other key services provided. In terms of facilities management, Crosbie Group serves the following industries: supermarkets, hotels, pubs, restaurants, gyms, pharmaceuticals, health and medical sector, offices, retail outlets and food distribution centres.

In an emergency out-of-hours situation, Crosbie’s support manager, dedicated on-call services engineers and H&S officer will ensure that they take ownership of the situation and comprehensively manage it until all repairs are complete in a safe and efficient manner. Your equipment works around the clock, so the Crosbie 24-hour emergency support also works around the clock to keep your equipment working. They are available day or night for large equipment repairs.

Wayne, who is only 30, is supported by his wife and fellow director Lyndsey, and 15 staff.

“It’s a real team effort. Our people are our strength,” he stresses.

“We started off as a sole trader in 2017 before becoming a limited company a year later when we had just six staff. The business has gone from strength to strength since then, so much so that it necessitated us moving to a bigger premises in Park West in February 2021. Not only does it have a state-of-the-art office and warehouse, the new premises are easier to access and all our suppliers are nearby. It’s also close to where most of our staff live, which is an added bonus.”

The affable managing director continues: “Our personal service, consistency of delivery and ability to leave clients with the impression of increased productivity make us stand out from the rest. I have a wealth of experience in all aspects of the business. I also have business and mindset coaches who have helped me to grow the company.”

Crosbie Group boasts an impressive client list in both the public and private sectors which includes the HSE, Spar, Centra, Lifestyle Sports, JD Sports, Butler’s Irish Chocolates, Screwfix, CTS Group and Baxter Healthcare. Indeed, business has flourished during the COVID-19 pandemic thanks to its essential work for the HSE, OPW, PJ Duffy and Jones Engineering.

“We currently have projects ongoing in Fitzgibbon Street Garda Station, St James’ Hospital, Coombe Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, Connolly Hospital, Lidl stores and dental practices across the country and two nursing homes in Cabra and Arklow . We also have a lot of office fitouts ready to go once the Government restrictions are lifted and are carrying out refrigeration revamps across some Spar and Mace stores to help them save money and reduce energy consumption. If anything, COVID has been good for business,” says Wayne, who concludes by thanking his customers and suppliers for their continued support.
