Cunningham’s Mission Critical & Life Sciences Division continues its accelerated growth with two significant project awards in Frankfurt and Dublin signalling further international expansion.
Cunningham has announced the award of two significant projects valued at a combined €20 million within the Mission Critical & Life Sciences sector in the same week, reinforcing Cunningham’s leading position in delivering complex technical construction projects.
The first of the two awards represents a continued strategic advancement in Cunningham’s international growth strategy. The company has been appointed by Winthrop Technologies to deliver a full internal fit‑out package for a new data centre facility in Frankfurt, Germany. Work is scheduled to commence in Summer 2026.
The scope of works includes the full internal fit-out of the data centre and front of house, supporting the growing demand for advanced digital infrastructure across Europe. The appointment is seen as a strategic step in Cunningham’s long-term international growth plans and demonstrates the capability to deliver complex Mission Critical projects.
In the same week an additional project was secured with PM Group for a global biotechnology facility in Dublin. The project involves delivering complex civils works including underground services infrastructure, supporting the development of a major Life Sciences facility. Work on this project is scheduled to commence early April 2026. This work is part of a €700 million investment into a cutting-edge site focused on the production of biologic medicines, including therapies for autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular conditions, and various cancers.
