While Davis Civil Engineering was established in 2009, the Davis name has been synonymous with the building trade since 1955. In that time, the Davis family have earned an enviable reputation for high-quality workmanship, reliability and excellence.
“I come from a construction background,” explains managing director Padraig Davis.

“Our greatest asset is our people. We have a great team who have been with us a long time. We started with a crew of five and are now up to over 40. We pride ourselves on our workmanship and ability to complete projects on time and within budget.
“We leave good quality work behind us which leads to lots of repeat business and recommendations from satisfied customers.”
The majority of Davis Civil Engineering clients are in the public sector and include local authorities, the HSE and Department of Education.
“We’ve done a lot of work for Meath County Council over the years,” Padraig notes.
“We’re currently putting the finishing touches to the 11km section of the Boyne Valley to Lakelands County Greenway from Nobber to Kingscourt for Meath County Council. We’re also upgrading 16 bus stops and Constructing new shelters for Kildare County Council throughout the county. Last year, we completed a road realignment project for Meath County Council in Kiltale.
“When you’re working on road projects, you try to keep traffic disruptions to a minimum. We have a traffic management system that is designed to keep traffic moving. We have become quite adept at getting the work done with the minimum of fuss.
“We recently carried out drainage works and extended a car park for a HSE Health Centre in Co Louth. We also do groundworks for Instaspace on behalf of the Department of Education.”
Based in Duleek, Co. Meath, Instaspace design, manufacture and deliver high-quality modular building solutions to the educational sectors among others.
Davis Civil Engineering has an array of plant and equipment to cater for any civil groundworks
project, including excavators, tipper trucks, dumpers, rollers, Macadam Pavers, compressors and compaction equipment.
All machines are maintained and serviced inhouse on a regular basis to eliminate downtime. “By investing in the latest technology, we’re able to provide our customers with a more efficient service,” Padraig says.
