Celebrating 10 years in business, Premier Contracts has established itself as one of Ireland’s leading shop fitting and interior fit-out specialists.
Based in Parkwest, Dublin 12, the contractor has successfully delivered FM and fit-out projects for some of the country’s best-known retail chains, legal firms, banking and telecommunications companies, and continues to go from strength to strength.
Providing a complete, comprehensive and cost-effective service to all clients, regardless of their size, is Premier Contracts’ number one goal. The 100% Irish-owned company works in partnership with its clients, supporting them with expert advice and innovative ideas on all facilities and property-related matters.
Communication, planning, cost and delivery are central to every job it undertakes. The core services provided by Premier Contracts are Shop Fitting, Refurbishment, Project Management and PSDP / PSCS. Whether it’s a high-end retail store, full office fit-out or the remodelling of a back office area, Premier Contracts caters for all requirements.
The company prides itself on providing its clients with the full package fit-out to suit their business needs and budgets. Bespoke fit-out is its “bread and butter”.
All services, from initial concept through to the construction and relocation as one single package, are provided. Be it a refresh of your existing space, optimising your existing office or upgrading the services, Premier Contracts can help you design, build and maintain your new space. Its goal is to deliver the optimum solution to its customers’ refurbishment needs and budget.
The role of the project management construction stage is to manage and coordinate health and safety matters during construction. The project management construction stage is appointed before the construction work begins and remains in that position until all construction work on the project is completed.
Likewise, the role of the project supervisor construction stage is to manage and coordinate health and safety matters during the construction stage. The project supervisor construction stage is appointed before the construction work commences and remains in that position until all construction work on the project is completed.
“Delivering turnkey shop fitting solutions and facilities management services to the retail and commercial sectors is what we’re all about,” says Premier Contracts managing director Connor O’Hare.
“We’re committed to delivering high quality work on time and within budget. We have a proven track record of being able to plan, programme and resource projects. Our management and design team have the expertise and experience to operate effectively at all levels of our clients’ organisation.
“We constantly strive to exceed our clients’ expectations. Our people are one of our greatest strengths. We have a small team of four who work well with our sub-contractors and clients alike. We take pride in doing things right. Our professionalism, attention to detail and ability to deliver practical solutions makes us a reliable partner for our clients.”
Premier Contracts offers a complete service that covers every aspect of interior contracting, from the installation of IT infrastructure, electrics, lighting, joinery and glazed partitions along with all finishes. The contractor retains clients and attracts new ones by providing a service that simply has no equal.
“The amount of repeat business we get reflects well on us. We have many long-standing customers who use us time and again. We’ve never had to advertise. Most of our work is secured through recommendations and word of mouth.
“We tender for a large number of contracts in the retail sector and are, more often than not, successful. Our shop fitting process is broken down into three distinct areas – Design, Manufacture and Installation.”
Premier Contracts’ client-base includes Carphone Warehouse, Currys and PC World, who are all part of the Dixons Carphone Group, 3 Ireland, Exterion Media, Aramark and CEF (City Electrical Factors).
“We’ve just finished warehousing and office fitouts for Dixons Carphone on their new distribution centre in Ballymount, west Dublin. It was one of the biggest jobs we’ve ever undertaken,” Connor explains.
“We’ve carried out numerous fit-outs for 3 Ireland and Dixons Carphone stores nationwide. We also did a fit-out for Riverdance at their offices in Merrion Street Upper. We’ve recently started a job for the National Treasury Management Agency at Treasury Dock on North Wall Quay, while we have another project coming up at the Beacon South Quarter in Sandyford. We’re never slack.”
Having being founded in the middle of the economic recession and come through that with flying colours, Premier Contracts is now facing a new challenge in the guise of Brexit.
“We’re adopting a ‘wait and see’ approach with regard to Brexit. If there’s a no-deal, a lot of businesses will fold. It could set Ireland and the UK back years. But whatever challenge it presents, we intend to meet it head-on,” the affable Co. Down man concludes.
Here’s to the next 10 years of Premier Contracts!
