Mark Keenan has been appointed as Operations Manager of Digital Construction Technologies Group (DCT Group), one of Ireland’s leading BIM and virtual design consultants.
As part of their continued expansion, Mark will join the rapidly growing design consultants to continue to support their growing market share in Ireland and firmly establish their footing in the UK BIM industry. As a key part of the management team, Mark will be responsible for analysing and improving the company’s processes and efficiency’s while developing strategies to improve the quality and productivity of DCT Group.
After completing an electrical apprenticeship Mark went on to further his education by completing a degree in electrical service design engineering and furthered his education with a postgraduate diploma in Collaborative BIM both awarded by TU Dublin.
Along with his educational background and BIM knowledge, Mark has a wealth of onsite and project management experience throughout his thirteen-year career across the construction industry. He has been involved in major projects across the commercial, industrial and domestic electrical engineering industries.
Upon completion of his educational studies, Mark co-founded and managed a successful electrical contracting company, working alongside some of Ireland’s leading contractors leading him to collaborate with Digital Construction Technologies across a commercial project. Mark adds, “From working with Joseph Mady, CEO & Founder of DCT Group on a project, and with my passion for digital technology, I knew when the opportunity arose to join DCT Group I couldn’t pass it up. DCT Group are leading the way in BIM and virtual design across Ireland and I’m looking forward to assisting them in further expanding the business, entering new markets and improving business operations for the group”.
DCT Group, who celebrate their second birthday this month are continuing to expand at an exponential rate, through specification on some of the world’s leading data centre projects, commercial builds and large residential developments. The young innovative company are well and truly at the forefront of the rapidly evolving digital construction industry.
