Allstar Tiling, set up and still run by David Fogarty and Ryan Fogarty, has established itself as one of Ireland’s leading tiling and flooring contractors, delivering industry-leading solutions on a wide range of prestigious tiling and floor covering projects nationwide.
Synonymous with delivering professional tiling services nationwide since 2003, Allstar Tiling is renowned industry-wide as one of Ireland’s premier supply-and-fit commercial tiling contractors, consistently delivering outstanding solutions to a range of satisfied customers, including a who’s who of Ireland’s Tier One main contractors.
Traditionally specialising in providing top-class, value-added, prompt and professional porcelain, ceramic, marble, mosaic and limestone tiling services, Allstar Tiling have diversified their service offering to also carry out high-quality soft flooring finishes on a wide range of commercial projects, again delivered to meet if not exceed the most exacting standards stipulated by architects, designers, consultants and building contractors alike.
By expanding into laminate flooring, vinyl, LVT, carpet tiling and carpet rolls – all of which are widely used on multiunit apartment block and school refurbishment projects, for example – Allstar Tiling now offer a complete range of floor-covering finishes under one roof
With an exceptional track record for project delivery and now offering a wider range of specialist commercial flooring services, Allstar Tiling are busier than ever right now, with multiple largescale projects ongoing and a healthy order book in front of them going into the foreseeable future.
Some recently-completed and current soft floor finish projects of note include large four-block apartment blocks of almost 300 units each for Brian M Durkan & Co. Ltd. at The Davitt on Davitt Road, Drimnagh (a landmark development of 265 high quality one and two bedroom apartments – the first purpose designed build to rent scheme in Ireland) and Brickfield Square, Crumlin (282 generously sized studio, one bedroom and two-bedroom apartments) as well as a build-to-rent scheme of 331 apartments in two blocks (eight-storey and ten-storey) at Newtown on Malahide Road for Gem Construction.
Meanwhile, also for Durkan, Blackchurch View in Mountjoy Street comprises 114 shared accommodation apartments as well as a café, gym and co-working space. “We’re also doing a few big projects for McNamara, for whom we’re just finishing up in Cookstown and Donnybrook and starting another development in Northwood, Santry, which will have 200 units in Phase One,” notes Seanie Fogarty, Sales, Operations and Commercial Manager.
“We’re also doing a number schools for Conack Construction – two in Tipperary, two in Limerick and two in Wexford. We’re fitting vinyl flooring mainly on those as well as a small amount of carpet. All in all, the business is growing rapidly and we’re very busy in all areas, with work all over the city and nationwide for multiple clients, the vast majority of this being repeat business.”
Over the past 20 years, Allstar Tiling have consistently delivered the highest standards of workmanship and attention to detail on a variety of tiling and floor covering projects across a broad range of sectors including hotels, shopping centres, office blocks, office fit outs, leisure centres, swimming pools, pharmaceutical, airports, hospitals, nursing homes, government buildings, shopping centres, schools, bars and restaurants.
A notable project finished in 2022 was Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, where Allstar Tiling completed a full refurb of floor tiles throughout the mall, including artist areas, open atrium and main halls. As part of this project, they were responsible for all floor prep, levelling and laying 7,500 sq m of 15mm large format tile with a unique pattern within a live and busy shopping centre – a major project carried out mostly at night in conjunction with Vision Contracting. Distillers Smithfield for John Sisk & Son and Maldron Hotel, Spencer Dock for PJ Hegarty & Son were a couple of other high-profile jobs finished last year.
The multiple-award-winning Center Parcs in Longford (where some 9,000 square metres of tiles were supplied and fitted on floors, walls and pools, for John Sisk & Son, including the Aqua Sana, 30 apartments, the village centre and restaurant) is another one of the major marquee projects delivered by Allstar Tiling, who have a proven pedigree for completing standard-setting projects for major clients.
They also had the distinction of working on the Salesforce Tower for Structure Tone Ireland, for whom the busy and meticulous Allstar team have just started another project at TikTok’s Dublin office.
Some other buildings to have benefited from the Allstar Tiling touch include Cashel Palace Hotel, Old Head Kinsale Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel Dublin, Herbert Park Hotel Dublin, National Rehabilitation Hospital Dun Laoghaire, Penrose Quay and Horgan’s Quay Office Developments Cork, Merck Sharp & Dohme Pharmaceutical and an array of Lidl supermarkets nationwide.
From fit-outs to intricately designed layouts, Allstar Tiling have worked with distinction alongside construction industry leaders on all types of projects over the past two decades. Attention to detail and value for money are the hallmarks of their unrivalled specialist tiling and flooring contracting service, with every tile and floor project completed to the highest standards and top class finishing non-negotiable.
Seanie concludes. “We’ve been growing steadily and taking on a lot more work since expanding into the soft floor finishes, and we’ve taken on additional Contracts Managers and Quantity Surveyors in line with the increased workload.
“We’re nationwide and no project is too big or too small. There’s a nice pipeline of projects in front of us for the foreseeable future, with a lot of nice work booked in, so all is good.”
