Established in 1996, Frank Roche Services (FR Services) in Mallow, Co. Cork is Munster’s leading provider of heating and cooling solutions. The company offers a complete service, including design, supply, installation and maintenance of air conditioning and heating systems.
Total temperature control is assured with FR Services which is celebrating 21 years in business. Specialising in air conditioning, heating, cooling, MHRV, chilling, HVAC, AHU and fresh air, the family-run business has gone from strength to strength by providing a professional, reliable and cost-effective service, and understanding the needs of its clients.
The company was set up in June 1996 by Frank Roche, who has over 40 years’ experience working in the air conditioning and ventilation industry. Frank was joined in the business in 2006 by his daughter Katie, who is Service and Maintenance Manager. Frank’s brother Patrick and sons-in-law Michael Curtin and Gavin O’Keeffe, who work in the mechanical and services divisions respectively, are also employed. The company currently has 20 staff on its books, all of whom have the most up-to-date training in installation, service and maintenance as well as health & safety in the workplace. Noel Finnegan is the Sales Manager.

Our experienced and highly-motivated team always see every project through to its completion. While most of our work is concentrated in Munster, we have completed projects all over Ireland. We cater for the private, public and domestic sectors.”
FR Services has been a business solutions partner with Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning Systems since its inception. The company also represents the Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Air Conditioning, Daikin, LG and Samsung brands whose products include ceiling concealed ducted units, suspended units, air curtains, jet towel dryers, high velocity units, ceiling cassettes and wall mounted units.
FR Services offers full mechanical packages, including mechanical design of MVAC, plumbing and BMS control systems. It carries all necessary insurance from design to handover and also has onsite project management, design, commissioning and client demonstrations. In addition, FR Services offers a fully regulated and accredited 24-hour callout service. As an FGR accredited and EPA approved company, it only employs fully certified engineers. All employees have completed the Solas / FAS Health & Safety Awareness Training Programme and have received training in scissors lifts, boom lifts, scaffold erection, angle grinders and other relevant power tools.
