High quality building guaranteed from Jadac Construction

18 Feb , 2022

Specialising in new builds, extensions, renovations and kitchens and bathrooms, Jadac Construction Ltd has earned an outstanding reputation for completing high quality residential projects in the Dublin and Louth areas.

Owner Damien Manning had operated as a sole trader for over 20 years before forming a limited company five years ago. The name Jadac stands for Jack, Amy, Damien, Alex and Caroline. Jack, Amy and Alex are Damien’s children, while Caroline is his wife.

A native of Templeogue in South Co. Dublin, Damien runs his business from near Ardee in Co. Louth where he relocated to 14 years ago. While most of his work continues to be concentrated in Dublin, he is increasingly working closer to home and is currently renovating a block of apartments in Dundalk.

“I didn’t want to step on any local builders’ toes when I moved to Ardee first, but things are so busy at the moment that there is more than enough work to go around. I have four lads working directly for me from the Ardee and Collon areas, so we’re as much a Co. Louth contractor as anyone at this stage,” Damien says.

Damien is a second-generation carpenter and builder who has been around construction sites for as long as he can remember. “I grew up working for my father Frank Manning who instilled a love for the trade in me. You have to have a passion for building and to be able to deal with people in a professional, understanding and courteous manner.”

As a construction company, Jadac provides a wide and complex range of services. The company aims to bring a personal touch to each project and to treat them as if they were its own. Fully insured and VAT registered, Jadac is all about the customer and exceeding their expectations.

Superior workmanship, attention to detail, value-for-money and a commitment to working closely with clients to deliver total satisfaction are the hallmarks of Jadac Construction. Health & Safety is at the core of the business, and never more so than in this Covid-19 age. From concept to completion, Damien and his team of top-class tradesmen are with you every step of the way, ensuring that your new project is designed and built to your specific needs, and that there are no hidden or extra costs involved.

Whether your next project is a new build, extension or renovation, Damien’s one-stop-shop approach will ensure that both the design and building processes are smooth, comfortable and hassle-free. The Louth contractor’s reputation for quality construction and ability to complete projects on time and within the agreed budget is borne out by the high volume of repeat business and referrals it receives from satisfied customers.

“Most of our work is secured through word of mouth and referrals from architects,” the affable Dubliner continues.

“We survived the last recession through word of mouth, so we’re proud of our reputation with both past and new clients. The service we offer is professional, reliable, highly competent and consistently reliable. A high standard is guaranteed with every project as well as loyalty, efficiency and punctuality.”

Damien enjoys an excellent working relationship with Joe Fallon of Joe Fallon Architectural Design. The two friends go back a long way, having known each other since their school days. With offices in Dundrum and Bunclody, Co. Wexford, Joe Fallon Architectural Design is a multi-award-winning practice mainly involved in designing home extensions, one-off houses, renovations and a growing number of social housing projects.

Joe Fallon Architectural Design’s highly-creative architects and architectural technologists work closely with a team of consultant engineers, quantity surveyors and Health & Safety professionals to offer a complete service to clients, ranging from initial assessment and conceptual drawings, through planning applications to construction monitoring and final certification. The company operates to the highest standards and takes enormous pride in its work.

Damien is full of praise for his staff and sub-contractors: “Our crew is a mix of experienced carpenters, block layers and roofers. We sub-contact the electrical, plumbing and plastering to the same tried and trusted tradesmen.

“By employing highly-skilled people, working closely with our architects and designers, and using only the very best building products, we’re able to deliver the highest quality construction to our clients.”

Jadac is a one-stop shop for all your new build, extension, renovation, kitchen and bathroom, attic conversion, groundworks and maintenance requirements. Damien can make kitchen units in his own workshop, but is also happy to accommodate other kitchen makers when he’s undertaking a new build, extension or renovation.

“I love the variety of the job,” he enthuses.

“You could be laying blocks one day, driving a digger the next or making a kitchen the day after that. No two days are ever the same.”

While it’s an expensive time for anyone building or renovating a home, Damien is determined to pass on whatever savings he can.

“The cost of some building materials have gone through the roof since lockdown and Brexit, but the suppliers I deal with will always pass on the best price and I, in turn, will pass that on to the customer. My suppliers are very loyal to me and I’m very loyal to them.”

Damien would like to take this opportunity to thank his clients and suppliers for their continued support as well as his staff for their hard work, dedication and expertise.
