Jones Engineering is delighted to have connected with students, educators, and families from across the South-west of Ireland during the STEM Showcase EXPO 2025, held in City Hall Cork on 20 November. The event brought together thousands of attendees for a full day dedicated to celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM) and exploring how these fields are shaping Ireland’s future.
Jones Engineering showcased engineering innovations, and provided insights into the diverse and global career opportunities available across the company. Throughout the event’s various sessions, the Jones team engaged directly with young people considering careers in engineering, as well as with teachers and parents supporting them. We’re proud to support those at all stages in their careers.
Rob Collins, General Manager for Jones Engineering in Cork, said: “The STEM Showcase EXPO was a fantastic opportunity to meet students who are curious, creative, and eager to make an impact. Events like this allow us to show what engineering is really like, from problem-solving and design to working on major global projects. Here in Cork, we’re continuing to grow and we want young people to know that world-class careers are available right on their doorstep. We’re proud to support an event that sparks ambition and highlights the many pathways into our industry.”
Jones Engineering’s involvement in the expo reflects our ongoing commitment to developing Ireland’s future talent. With major projects underway locally and internationally, the company continues to invest in apprenticeships, graduate development, and workplace learning to support the next generation of engineers, technicians, and project specialists.
