“What we are most enthusiastic about is the old and the new modern builds. Our speciality is one off builds, with a superior design and character to them.
“Be it ultra-modern or incredibly old, we will endeavour to build the vision of our clients. Once you have the right design team and contractor with you, you can come up with the solution the client wants.”

The majority of Will Fogarty Construction’s workload is conducted within the Cork County boundary, although they also ventured into Limerick and Kerry and have completed projects in the capital and elsewhere around Ireland. Some recently completed projects include new build homes in Cork, from Douglas to Mallow, & North Cork areas of Kilbrin and Newtownshandrum as well as apartments fit outs and extensions / renovations in Cork city.
“We are currently working on a large extension/renovation in Mallow, which is a nice mixture of old and new. I really appreciate that kind of conservation work, but at the same time must be careful of what we take on, as you must have the right team and trades with you to deliver the high standards that we have set.”
To this end, Will has surrounded himself with exceptional, highly qualified personnel, both in the office and on site, and these team members contribute immeasurably to the ongoing success of the business. The core team is nine, including Will himself, as well as a full-time QS (Pat) and office manager (Tanya), who boasts an invaluable background and is a Building Services Engineer.
A carpenter by trade, Will is very much a hands-on director, typically working half his time on site and the other half managing the wider business.
“I like to keep busy and getting the projects completed,” the Cork contractor continues. “Everybody has a budget, and you respect that. We are here to do what the client wants us to do, to complete the project and make sure they are fully satisfied with the result.
“I am fortunate to have excellent staff. I also work with reliable sub-contractors, most of whom have been with me for the last 15 years. They are like an extension of my own company. They know what is expected of them and they slot in seamlessly. You must treat your extended team well and aappreicate the value they bring. Once you look after them and treat them with the respect they deserve, then they will want to be part of the team and will repay you with good workmanship.”
Due to the way construction has changed in recent times, going forward Will can see the business focusing on larger projects, but fewer of them, always with the focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
