Total Fitout is a leading turnkey PRS fit out provider with a passion for design, creativity and sustainability.

With offices in Cavan, Dublin and London, Total Fitout continues to go from strength to strength and was delighted to be shortlisted in three categories at the recent 2022 Fit Out Awards. Joanne Reilly and Andrius Usevas were nominated for Fit Out Designer of the Year and Project Manager of the Year respectively, while the company was also in the running for Fit Out Project of the Year – Residential for Tara View in Dublin 4.

Presented at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road, Dublin on Wednesday, November 23 last, the Fit Out Awards celebrate excellence in the execution of world-class fit outs as well as the people and clients who drive these projects. The awards offer a great opportunity for companies from all over Ireland to come together, collaborate and showcase their work.

“It’s great recognition for the whole Total Fitout team,” Design Director Joanne Reilly said of the nominations.

“We’re constantly evolving and adapting to our clients’ needs. Sustainability has become a major focus of ours. We can now produce a fit out for the private rent sector (PRS) that is over 80% Irish-made which is something we’re very proud of.”

Established in 2011 to offer landlords, investors and property agents a professional furniture fit out service, Total Fitout brings added value to your living place – inspiring, facilitating and fostering creativity through excellent design, knowledge, expertise, experience and delivery. The company supplies products that offer a combination of style and durability at a variety of price points depending on its clients’ markets.

Operating from a central warehouse at its head office in Cavan, Total Fitout has the ability to provide a nationwide service with a quick delivery time. With an inhouse interior design service, the company also has the ability to take its clients’ projects from concept to completion.

Total Fitout builds relationships and outstanding interiors. It does this simply by doing what it says it will do. Every one of the team takes individual responsibility for completing their actions with attention to detail in a timely manner.

Each team member has a finely-tuned sense of the aesthetic and pride themselves in creating interiors that are compelling. Not only do they design gorgeous places for living, they deliver a clean, quality finish that will stand the test of time.

The timber in Total Fitout’s furniture comes from sustainably-managed forests where the environment, wildlife and local communities are protected in the production of the wood. The fit out specialist carefully chooses foams that degrade and do not contain harmful chemicals or generate off-gassing. Its fabrics comprise the highest possible percentage of recycled cotton, linen and wool. Total Fitout’s furniture lasts for decades, saving you money and reducing waste to landfill.

When Total Fitout looks after its people, they look after its customers. Each team member is empowered with a strong sense of purpose in the organisation, taking personal pride in their relationship with you and in your fit out.

Total Fitout is fronted by Shea Woods who has gained over 25 years’ experience in furniture procurement, sourcing, import, export, wholesale and the retail sector. Throughout his career in the furniture and fit out industry, the Managing Director has nurtured enduring client relationships with global asset management funds who place their trust in him to manage multi-million euro fit out projects on their behalf. These projects range from private rental sector (PRS) and build to rent (BTR), to domestic state body contracts.

Part of the Total Fitout team since 2015, Joanne Reilly’s talents comprise the flair of a designer with the process-driven approach of a quantity surveyor. Joanne holds a master’s degree in professional design practice as well as a first-class honour’s degree in interior and furniture design. In her 21-year career, she has won the recognition of her peers in Ireland and the UK, including being a Designer of the Year finalist at the Fit Out Awards on four occasions and KBB Review Awards finalist in the UK as well as KRI Young Designer of the Year.

Joanne created the FF&E design for 72 apartments in the Benson Building in the heart of Dublin’s docklands. The clients requested a contemporary upmarket feel for these units which Joanne achieved using stunning pieces of furniture with a mix of warm and neutral colour tones, and a variety of materials like brass, ceramic and laminate timbers. The end result is a mid-century contemporary mix which sits in beautifully with the surrounding views of Dublin.

Andrius Usevas has a keen eye for detail and organisation, having developed his career from Site Supervisor to Project Manager. Andrius runs all of Total Fitout’s PRS projects from site to ensure all deliveries and installs are as smooth as possible. He played a central role in the completion of the aforementioned Benson Building which was hit by many delays due to Covid-19.

Andrius reported back to the operations department on a weekly basis with updates on the development. Working alongside Total Fitout’s procurement officer, he ensured that once the fit out was ready to commence, the company would have all products in stock and ready to install.

Joanne, Andrius and Operations Manager Andrew Mackie were the project team of the Tara View project which was also a finalist at the Fit Out Awards. Client IRES’s brief for the stunning Dublin 4 development was to create a timeless luxury rental product for potential tenants. To achieve this, they created new FF&E designs for each unit type, giving an individual feel for all spaces. This gave potential tenants more options when it came to the finishes of their future homes.

The Townhouses had extra added touches like the custom-designed joinery units in the living areas. These added the ‘wow factor’ as you walked into the space. Pops of colours throughout with Irish art added extra points of interest as you walk through the units, designed around the scheme and developed by local artists.

Total Fitout boasts a stellar client-list which includes IRES, Henderson Park, Patrizia, Hines, Ronan Group, Havitat, Savills, Kennedy Wilson, Hooke & McDonald and Holiday Inn Express Hotels to name but a few. The Cavan-headquartered company would like to take this opportunity to thank all of its clients and suppliers for their continued support as well as their highly-creative team for their hard work, dedication and expertise.
