PMEP Consulting sets the standards

Since its inception in 2015, PMEP Consulting Ltd has established itself as one of Ireland’s leading mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy practices, and has the awards to prove it.

Fronted by Michelle Hickey and Nick Penston and based in Citywest, Dublin 24, PMEP (Penston MEP Consulting Ltd) specialises in building services and engineering design for mechanical and electrical projects in the commercial, retail, education, health, Tech energy and industrial sectors. Nick is supported by a top-class team of mechanical and electrical engineers, CAD / REVIT technicians, administration staff and management.

“It’s down to service and having control over the quality of your work. We pride ourselves on our outstanding service. Our people are our greatest asset. We provide a range of mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy services, taking projects from the initial design stages through to completion,” says Nick, who has over 30 years’ experience in the M&E sector.

The award-winning practice is currently engaged in a number of residential and commercial projects, including commercial office fitouts at Townsend Street and 73 North Wall Quay in Dublin, The Leinster Hotel in Dublin 2 and a nursing home for Mowlam Healthcare in Leopardstown.

“We’re involved in multiple residential projects – both houses and apartments – mostly in the Dublin area,” explains the affable managing director, who is originally from Arklow, but is now happily settled with his family in Kildare.

“We’re also working on logistics, warehousing and fitouts for clients within the tech sector. In addition, we’re involved in a medical devices project for a confidential client in Galway. We have plenty to keep us busy.”
