Saint-Gobain along with brands Gyproc, Isover and Weber has announced the schedule for its 2020 Build Better Roadshows which will commence in Sligo on March 12th, 2020. Following the success of the 2019 Build Better Roadshow, which attracted 667 construction professionals, Saint-Gobain is pleased to announce that the 2020 Build Better Roadshow will hold events at the Radisson Blu Sligo (March 12th), Crowne Plaza North Dublin (May 7th), Crowne Plaza Belfast (June 17th), Silversprings Hotel Cork (September 17th), and South Dublin (Date & Location TBC).Dates for all events are subject to change, with final speaker and seminar details for all events available at: https://www.saint-gobain.ie/events
The 2020 Build Better Roadshow trade event will be a one-stop-shop for architects, engineers, designers, and contractors, for a wide range of building fabric solutions. Each event will offer a series of industry-specific seminars throughout the day that will focus on the topics of fire safety, acoustics and energy efficiency in respect to achieving compliance and meeting the demands of current construction standards and expectations across both residential and non-residential projects. It will also provide attendees with an opportunity to see and understand new and existing products that help their clients to build better.

Success of the 2019 Build Better Roadshow
In 2019, Saint-Gobain’s Build Better Roadshow attracted 667 construction professionals – including architects, engineers, designers, and contractors. The 2019 roadshow held a total of nine seminars across Belfast, Limerick, Waterford, Galway, and Cork, and included topics such as fire safety, acoustics, and energy efficiency. These seminars helped professionals across Ireland in achieving compliance and meeting the demands of current construction standards and expectations across both residential and non-residential projects.
The industry-leading content that 2019’s Build Better Roadshow featured was only made possible due to the involvement of some of the industry’s most noteworthy and knowledgeable speakers. Among those experts that lent their time to helping to improve Ireland’s construction industry standards were Paul McAlister (Paul McAlister Architects), John Morehead (Wain Morehead Architects Ltd.), Eamon O’Boyle (Eamonn O’ Boyle & Associates), Archie O’Donnell (i3PT Certification), Kevin Whiriskey (Castle Group), and Conor Taaffe (Homebond).
