Shields Construction is a Residential/Commercial Building and Plant Hire firm located in Blackthorn Business Park, Coe’s Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth.
Founded in 2006 by John Shields, it initially specialised in plant hire and groundworks before progressing into construction. Through hands-on management and strong business ethics it has grown steadily over the years to earn recognition and a reputation as a quality reliable building firm, with the majority of its business coming from referrals and repeat customers.
The aim of the team at Shields Construction is to meet client’s requirements and exceed their expectations by delivering a high standard of work on time and on budget. John has a passion for excellence and for creating mutually beneficial relationships with clients, employees, engineers/architects, subcontractors and suppliers.
They undertake projects ranging from small scale extensions/conversions to total refurbishments and new builds. They carry out their own demolition, site clearance and structural work, which is vital in making every build a seamless process from start to finish.
Shields Construction is committed to effectively managing all aspects of health and safety and prioritises the welfare and safety of their employees and the general public from start to finish of every project.
