Safeco Electric has earned a stellar reputation for its service over the past decade, so Building Ireland felt it was time to learn more about the dynamic Co Wexford-based firm from its owner and founder Peter Corish.
Business is good right now at Safeco Electric and company Managing Director Peter Corish intends to keep it that way in 2018.
Based in Murntown, Co Wexford, the firm has grown from strength to strength over the last 10 years through its continued commitment to detail, professionalism and high service standards.
Peter and his wife Linda run the business together with the former possessing no fewer than 30 years’ experience in the electrical contracting industry which he has gained here in Ireland, as well as in the UK and USA.
Despite an increasingly hectic schedule, Peter was good enough to take some time to give Building Ireland the lowdown on what his company is all about.
“Safeco Electric is running 10 years now and we’ve 14 staff. Myself and my wife Linda are the directors here,” he explained.
“We offer all aspects of electrical installation and the majority of our work here would be commercial. Most of the work that we get comes through word of mouth and continued repeat business from our clients.
“In recent years, we’ve been doing a lot of schools, car dealerships, hotels and libraries.”
Since its inception, Safeco Electric has enjoyed steady growth even throughout the financial downturn, relying almost exclusively on word of mouth referrals from happy clientele. The feeling as to why there has been continued success is largely due to the company’s attention to detail, professionalism and high service standards.
Safeco Electric is a small to medium sized company and their skilled staff is comfortable carrying out all types of electrical work.
“Since we set-up in 2007, it has progressively been getting better. While we started in the middle of the recession here, we never hit rock bottom and the last couple of years have been really steady for us thankfully,” said Peter.
