Heating Engineer Supplies (HES) has been the go-to destination for heating and tool solutions in Ireland since 2010. Based in Patrickswell, Co. Limerick, the company’s commitment to excellence was recognised at the 2023 Heating & Plumbing Awards where it was honoured with the Highly Commended Supplier of the Year Award.
Hosted by Ireland’s Plumbing & Heating Magazine, the Awards are judged by an independent panel of respected industry experts who have unrivalled experience and industry knowledge. The 2023 Awards culminated in a gala ceremony at Clontarf Castle, Dublin on November 10 last which was attended by over 400 people, including leading figures in the Irish plumbing and heating industry.

It was the second time in three years that HES collected a Heating & Plumbing Award. In 2021, Charlie received the Unsung Hero of the Year accolade for his selfless willingness to support charities, community clubs and distribute essential PPE during the Covid-19 pandemic.
HES has been dedicated to providing high-quality products and services to heat engineers and plumbers since its inception. Founded by Charlie and Mary O’Neill, the company initially focused on catering to gas and oil engineers as the primary representatives for Anton Flue Gas Analysers in Ireland. “We’re now capable of supplying over 20,000 products to the sector,” Charlie explains.
“We started out selling Anton Flue Gas Analysers and have expanded our product range over the years. We can do everything from kitting out vans to calibration. We calibrate 4,000 instruments for Anton by Crowcon every year and have plans to do likewise for Testo as well. Anton is a world-renowned gas detection company whose fixed and portable products we have access to.
“We have a nationwide customer-base of plumbers and heat engineers who deal with us time and time again.”
