James comes from a farming background, while my family are estate agents and undertakers who also have an antiques furniture business in Prosperous,” Bryan explains.

At a time when there is a shortage of skilled labour in the sector, we are very lucky to have them and top-class and reliable subcontractors as well. We also have the pleasure of collaborating with many established architects and engineers on a regular basis through our clients.
“It’s a real team effort.”
Business is thriving for ReiMal Construction who have completed many projects in the North Kildare area over the past eight years. Current projects include a new 2,000 sq. ft. bungalow in Prosperous and two new semi-detached four-bed homes, also in Prosperous. Furthermore, the contractor recently completed two new one-off homes in Gappagh Woods, Clane.
“There’s a building boom in Kildare at the moment. Any town or village that has daily bus services to Dublin is a hotspot for building. The Edenderry-Dublin bus route services Prosperous. We’re always on the lookout for sites to develop new houses on and sell them. We’re very busy and hopefully it will stay that way for many years to come.”
