Women in Construction Ireland Launches New Company Membership Model to Drive Sector-Wide Gender Equality

13 Nov , 2025

With Gender Pay Gap reporting deadlines fast approaching in November 2025, Women in Construction Ireland (WICI) has announced the launch of a new Company Membership Model – designed to help organisations demonstrate real leadership and action in advancing gender equality across the construction sector.

The new membership model supports companies in turning intent into action, offering a practical framework to build visibility, credibility, and impact while helping employers attract and retain diverse talent.

Membership officially runs from 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2026, but organisations that join now will receive immediate access, giving them an extra month free at no additional cost. This early access means members can also reference their WICI membership in upcoming Gender Pay Gap reports as a tangible commitment to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within their organisation.

Membership Benefits Include:

  • Visibility: Company logo featured on the WICI website, use of the official member badge, and inclusion in WICI announcements.
  • Networking: Access to 10 event tickets annually, members-only webinars, and exclusive briefings.
  • Impact: Each member makes one public commitment to gender equality, showcased in WICI’s Annual Impact Report.

Founder of WICI, Joanne White shared that “Construction in Ireland is changing and companies that lead on equality will be the ones shaping its future”.

Amy Martin, EDI Partner at Sisk, when discussing their recent membership with WICI noted “Gender equality in construction won’t happen by chance. It’s going to take sustained action and collaboration. That’s why three Sisk Group companies, including John Sisk & Son, Vision Built and Sensori, are proud to join Women in Construction Ireland and help drive meaningful change across the sector.”
