“My father Barney was a stonemason and I have one brother who is also a carpenter and another who is a fitter in the army. It’s in the blood,” Hugh says.
“I’m 46 and have been in the business for almost 30 years. I operated as a sole trader for many years before forming a limited company in 2016. We do good work and keep the lines of communication open at all times, which is very important. We take great pride in building, renovating and extending beautiful, energy-efficient homes. We have our own plant for carrying out groundworks and our dedicated team of tradespeople ensure your new build or extension is built and finished to the highest possible standard.”

“We’re located on the Wicklow-Kildare border, so most of our work is concentrated in those two counties,” explains Hugh, who played hurling in Wicklow with Western Gaels, and hurling and football in Kildare with Naas and Ballymore Eustace respectively.
“We try to stick to our own area as much as possible and are currently finishing two 2,000 sq. ft. new builds in Monasterevin and Newbridge, and starting a new bungalow in Dunlavin. We’re also pricing up a civils job for Coolcat Plant Services in Pfizer, Grange Castle.
“Examples of our school extension projects can be found in Booterstown, Whitechurch, Clondalkin and Hollywood. We can turn our hand to any type of building, but are largely focused on residential projects at the moment.
“We continue to attract new and existing customers by offering an unrivalled service. We go the extra mile for them and are always available to offer advice or answer any queries they may have.”
