SG Modular UK Limited and Brian Conneely & Co sign agreement for Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) in Ireland.
Brian Conneely & Co and the UK/Turkey modular house manufacturer SG Modular UK have signed an agreement to deliver modular and mobile homes to Ireland through a new joint venture based in Ireland.
During the launch of the Modular Advanced Kit Structures (MAKS) and factory visits in Turkey Brian Conneely & Co and SG Modular committed to found a new joint venture, SG Conneely MMC, for the turnkey delivery of the latest modular technology in Ireland. As well as homes, the joint venture will also deliver a wide range of utility systems including retail, education and mobile solutions. The establishment of the new company is subject to the completion of business registration procedures. The joint venture will be located in Ballinasloe, where both partners will together create a new head office.
The urgent need for quality, long term housing solutions and the growth of MMC is a key element of both partners continued strategic development within Ireland. Today’s move follows the Ireland Housing Agency Framework Award to SG Modular for modular and mobile homes in December 2018. It is another significant step towards the growth of both companies.
