Close working relationships with their clients is a key consideration for J W Casey Construction Ltd. Managing Director John Casey was delighted with their success at last year’s John Sisk & Son Supply Chain Awards.
More than 500 guests gathered at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin for the prestigious black-tie John Sisk & Son Supply Chain Awards event ceremony on Thursday, November 29th last and J W Casey Construction were amongst the winners announced on the night.
Sisk spent a total of €1bn with its supply chain in 2018 while the construction business
also confirmed it has a total of 5,000 approved and active suppliers and subcontractors on its system.
Shortlisted subcontractors and suppliers were nominated by each of Sisk’s business units and procurement respectively. Each business Unit then selected its ‘Best Subcontractor of the Year’ from the proposed shortlist following a thorough evaluation process, with the winners announced at a ceremony in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.
Commenting after the ceremony, Stephen Bowcott, CEO, John Sisk & Son, said: “The Sisk Supply Chain Awards for 2018 was a great success. It is great to see our team carry on the momentum of last year’s inaugural awards.
“The event was a fantastic opportunity to further build on the strong relationships we have with our Supply Chain partners across our business, and to recognise and acknowledge the excellent performance, commitment and dedication shown by our supply chain partners across Sisk projects.
“The Sisk Supply Chain Awards is one of the key initiatives that the business is undertaking towards delivering effective, lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships with our key stakeholders.
“On behalf of Sisk, I would like to congratulate all the winners and thank them for their support this year.”
The team at J W Casey Construction were popping the champagne corks on the night as they were unveiled as the Supply Chain Partner of the Year for Civils Ireland.
