The maintenance division of Premier Property Group provides a comprehensive range of preventative and reactive maintenance / emergency repair services, covering everything from painting and decorating to plumbing, heating and renewable energy, electrical work, gardening, appliance repairs, plaster work and insulation, kitchen / bathroom upgrades, tiling, flooring, contract cleaning / waste removal, glass repairs and glazing, pest control, general household maintenance and locksmith services (holding a locksmith license from The Private Security Authority (PSA)).

“On the development side, a lot of what we are doing is one-off houses, renovations and extensions, predominantly in the Navan area,” notes MD John Powell. “It really took off around 2014-15 and we haven’t looked back. We also do a lot of upgrades and revamps, retrofitting and renovating old houses.
“Using our own crew of fully-qualified, -accredited and vastly-experienced tradesmen, we can provide a complete range of building services across the board. We can take on small or large renovations, from €5,000 to €40,000 or more. Between development and maintenance, there’s nothing we can’t do, from changing a lightbulb or lock to replacing a boiler, fixing a leak or building a dream home.”
The high quality of services provided has been instrumental in the steady growth and expansion of the company, with up to 95% of business provided to satisfied repeat clients. “The reliability factor is critical in property maintenance and development,” John continues. “The fact that we employ all our own men in-house means we will get every job done on time and to the highest standards and without being held up by subbies.
“Clients want efficiency, quality workmanship and reliability. When we say we are going to be there at a particular time, we will be there every time without fail.”
While the novel coronavirus outbreak has led to uncertainty in Ireland’s economy, leaving no sector untouched, Premier Property Group has managed to come through relatively unscathed thus far: “We continued to provide emergency services even during the peak of the Covid crisis,” says John. “So, even though we scaled back, we weren’t shut down completely.
“Thank God, it appears as if we were just put on pause temporarily because we are back to full capacity again now with a lot of work ahead of us. Things look positive for the time being and hopefully that can continue. I think the fact that we are so flexible and versatile and cover such a wide range of services stands to us.
“We’ve also started to provide a contract cleaning service recently and are always evolving and trying to move with the times,” the Group MD concludes. “There are always new products and systems emerging in the construction industry – particularly in mechanical and electrical work – so we keep abreast of this and constantly upskill and educate our tradesmen to make sure we continue to perform at the highest industry standards.
