Creating better, safer work environments since 2014, Dynamic Safety Solutions Ltd was delighted to receive the ‘Best New Entry – Medium Sized Organisation Award’ at the 31st National Irish Safety Organisation / Northern Ireland Safety Group (NISO / NISG) Annual Safety Awards which took place at the Galmont Hotel, Galway on November 11 last.
The prestigious award recognises the company’s commitment to delivering safety solutions to its valued customer-base across Ireland, the UK and beyond. From humble beginnings, Dynamic Safety Solutions has grown to employ 54 staff at offices in Westport, Claremorris and Belmullet in Co. Mayo, and Eglish in Co. Tyrone. The directors are Adrian Maye, Kevin Feerick and Sean McCann.
The company has established itself as a leading Health & Safety training and consultancy which specialises in training, management systems, consultancy and testing inspections of plant and machinery. It has customers in the utilities (overhead, underground, gas, water) , construction, pharmaceutical, educational, data center, retail, transport, hospitality and civils sectors in the UK, Ireland and Rest of Europe.

All access platforms, machinery and lifting equipment are subject to six or 12-month PUWER / LOLER inspections. The Dynamic team ensures your equipment and machinery is compliant to statutory safety standards before certification is issued, and advises on any remedial requirements. The testing and calibration division is client-focused, carrying out inspections at times and locations that suit you.
The company has invested into calibration of Electrical Measurement Equipment such as multi-function testers, multi-meters, meggers etc. As well as this, it can also calibrate Gas detection units and conduct PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) for various clients.
After the inspections are completed, Dynamic ensures you have access to your own cloud-based database for all of your certificates. To top it off, your dedicated account manager will be in contact six weeks before the expiry date to reschedule the inspection again.
Dynamic Safety Solutions’ growth continued during the Covid-19 pandemic through the need for PPE supplies as well as the requirement for companies reopening after restrictions were lifted to implement internal safety and wellbeing measures in order to protect their staff, the general public and wider community.
“We worked closely with a lot of companies and suppliers throughout the pandemic,” Adrian explains.
He adds: “Anywhere we can make savings for our customers we will. We will save on their administration and insurance costs. Everything we do is done with efficiency and the environment in mind.”
Adrian Maye and Kevin Feerick both hail from Mayo, while Sean McCann is a Tyrone man. Adrian’s background is in construction, quarry and civil engineering, Kevin’s is in overhead utilities, while Sean’s is in overhead utilities and construction.
