Chadwicks Group has announced the winners of its first ever Chadwicks Appreciation and Recognition Awards (CARAs). The CARAs celebrate and recognise excellence across Chadwicks Group nationwide from best-in-class customer service in-branch to colleagues who are making a positive contribution to their local community.
Winners were announced at a ceremony at the Mansion House in Dublin on Friday, 27th January, with 350 Chadwicks Group colleagues in attendance to celebrate the achievements of branches, departments, and colleagues around the country.
In total, 12 awards were given on the night including Chadwicks Wexford being named Chadwicks Branch of the Year. Known across the business for always being accommodating and carrying a positive outlook, the 19-strong team in Chadwicks Wexford is led by Branch Manager Enda O’Brien who is recognised by colleagues across the Group for his willingness to support teammates in the Wexford branch and beyond.
The Panelling Centre, Furry Park was named Destination Brand Branch of the Year for their consistent hard work and excellent standards across the board. The Furry Park team welcomes positive feedback on a regular basis from colleagues and customers alike. Whether it comes to showrooms that are in impeccable condition all year round or being one of the highest rated Great Places to Work branches in the whole of Chadwicks Group, the Furry Park team confidently overcome the everyday challenges of a busy branch.
Ciaran Murphy, Senior Manager on the Chadwicks Group IT Team won the Leadership Team Award for his outstanding contribution throughout the year. Having worked with Chadwicks Group for 38 years, Ciaran’s colleagues mostly admire and appreciate his enthusiasm to lend a helping hand – whether it comes to IT issues or beyond. Ciaran takes charge and is the leading edge of IT initiatives in Chadwicks Group, demonstrating an extensive knowledge of wider business operations. He is known as the go-to person and trusted source of advice when it comes to problem solving across the Group.
The dedicated team at Chadwicks Naas has taken home the Health and Safety Award, known as a branch with a great proactive safety culture where colleagues are empowered to take initiative and strive to make improvements. The dynamic duo of Mick Monahan, Branch Manager, with Damien Fagan, Health and Safety Co-Ordinator for Chadwicks Naas, is unmatched as they have worked together to lead their team in maintaining excellent standards of housekeeping, traffic management controls and high levels of awareness surrounding health and safety within the branch.
