The company was founded in 2011 by Pat O’Brien, who is Managing Director, with over 30 years’ experience in the critical field of Health and Safety and Management from design through production and installation works in a variety of product ranges. Throughout his career, Pat has used the process of “continuous improvement philosophy” from his experience in Japan in achieving excellence in everything he does.

“We have become adaptable to customer needs and we tailor the business to suit the needs and requirements of the market. For example, we now sell a new range of Slice safety knifes and have at present a healthy interest in these new and innovative products.
The business was established during a recession when not a lot of people where spending money on training or consultancy at that time, but we made a lot of contacts and I’ve managed to build it up the business by constantly increasing the product range and be different to the rest in the marketplace.
We’ve never had to advertise. The business has grown organically through word of mouth and recommendations. Often when we work for a contractor or a client, we also end up providing a service to a number of their subcontractors or other businesses.
“I’ve gone from offering training and consultancy on my own to the point where we’re now operational with a team of five plus and up to 100 training and consultancy contractors whose services we use on a regular basis.
Training courses are offered across a wide range of areas, including: Chemical, First Aid, Food & Hygiene, Horticultural Safety, Machinery and equipment, Manual Handling, Fire Warden and awareness Safety, Working at Height Awareness and an array of Vehicle Operated Courses. We now sell a lot of products and training online and I can see potential for growth in this key area.
We also provide many Instructor courses to support management training which can be carried out on their premises or alternatively we can place them on public courses.
Services provided include: Health & Safety Consultancy; Accident Investigation; Method Statements; PSCS/PSDP Safety Planning; Risk Assessment Analysis; Security Auditing and Inspection; Safety Auditing and Inspection; and Safety Officer Support.
In addition to selling Working at Height & rescue equipment, tethering products, we sell a large range of safety ID inspection tags suitable for use in many industries but particularly suited to lifting gear and the Health & Safety testing sectors, Lockout-Tag Out (LOTO) Equipment, Fire Extinguishers (supply and maintenance); PAT Testing, quick-build flat pack containers; radio and communication systems, Safety Signage (manufactured and installed); and other products such as First Aid Supplies, Defibrillators and Pallet Racking Systems and much more.
