Cunningham, one of the leading names in construction, proudly celebrate 20 years in business this year, marking two decades of sustained growth, industry leadership and successful project delivery across multiple sectors.

Founded in 2006 by Tim and Joanne Cunningham, the company has grown from a family-run business into an international construction company employing 280 people across offices in Ireland, Germany and the UK.

Over the past 20 years, Cunningham has delivered more than €500 million in projects across a range of sectors including Mission Critical & Life Sciences, Residential, Healthcare, Education, and Fit-Out.

The company has established a strong track record in delivering technically complex projects, particularly within highly regulated and mission critical environments where safety, quality and programme delivery are key priorities.

Speaking on the anniversary, Tim Cunningham, Founder and CEO of Cunningham, said: “Reaching 20 years in business is an incredible milestone for our company and one we are immensely proud of. Key Milestones:

• 2006 Cunningham was established with its first project.
• 2012 Entry into the Healthcare sector with delivery of The Heathers Nursing Home, the company’s first £1 million project.
• 2019 Expansion into Mission Critical and Life Sciences through works at an €8 billion facility in Leixlip, alongside delivery of the €24 million Cornamona Court development.
• 2023 Awarded the €40 million Clonburris Canal Extension project for South Dublin County Council.
• 2024 driven from the top Cunningham launches its own safety brand, Care, Commit, Guard reenforcing Cunningham’s number one priority, safety.
• 2025 Secured Lynch’s Lane, Cunningham’s largest project to date at €100 million.
• 2026 Celebrating 20 years in business, with over half a billion euro in projects delivered and continued international expansion into Frankfurt.
