Property Industry Ireland (PII), the Ibec group that represents the property and construction sector, has announced Tony Reddy, Chairman and Founder of Reddy Architecture + Urbanism appointment as the new association chair. He brings over four decades of experience in the property industry and has been a Council member of PII for over 15 years. He is a former President of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI), a former chair of the Academy of Urbanism and a member of the Irish Cities 2070 Group.

David Howard, Director of Property Industry Ireland, said: “I am delighted to welcome Tony Reddy as our new Chair at a really important time of our sector. Over the last number of years, we have seen strong intent from Government and policymakers when it comes to addressing the barriers to critical infrastructure and housing delivery. The next phase is about accountability to ensuring all parts of the system are delivering on the progressed promised.  Tony’s profound understanding of urban design, planning, and sector-wide policy makes him uniquely positioned to lead PII through this important next stage. Having served on the PII Council for over 15 years, his strategic insight will be invaluable as we continue to advocate for a sustainable, vibrant, and forward-looking property and construction sector in Ireland. I look forward to working closely with him to address the key opportunities and challenges facing our industry.”
