“The business was started by my parents, Tommy and Patricia, in 1983 in Castlebar town centre,” explained Wesley Hurst who is manager of the Castlebar store. “We operated there until 2004 before moving to our current premises. Two years ago we opened up the Westport store and, thankfully, business is going very well there.”

Meanwhile, their heating and plumbing trade counter specialises in everything heating and plumbing and their staff of 20 employees has a huge depth of experience and knowledge in this field and are available to advise you at any time.
Again, they deal and stock all leading heating and plumbing products such as oil boilers, gas boilers, radiators, aluminium radiators, under floor heating, oil tanks, water tanks, water pumps, circulating pumps, plumbing tools, cylinders, piping and water filtration. In addition, they also carry a small range of electrical products.

“We hold a large stock of plumbing fittings and have an extensive selection of both bathroom & plumbing supplies at all times,” Wesley – who is joined in the family-run business by his brother Wayne looks who looks after trade enquiries – outlined. “Customer satisfaction is of vital importance to us and our customers expect us to have parts in stock as they require them.”

“Business is steady. We haven’t seen the upturn like the one that is bring reported in Dublin as of yet but we’re happy enough. Our focus at this point in time is on streamlining our business and making our two stores work.”
