The famous home of Cork GAA – Pairc Ui Chaoimh – is in the midst of a €70 million redevelopment.
Works to upgrade the stadium to a 45,000 capacity commenced at the start of this year and the projected finish date in time for the 2017 Munster championships.
As main contractor, John Sisk & Son were entrusted with the task of bringing the ambitious plans to fruition and when it came to the project’s scaffolding requirements, they didn’t look any further than the locally based JD Scaffolding.

“We started in Pairc Ui Chaoimh with Sisk in February of this year and the plan is to be finished by July, 2017,” Declan, who joined the company that was set up by Jim Doherty in October of last year, revealed.
Their dedicated people is one of the JD Scaffolding’s primary assets. All of the 18 sub-contractors employed by JD Scaffolding are fully trained and certified and the services they provide includes scaffold design, scaffold inspection and scaffold tie testing.
When they get to work, all scaffolding is delivered on time to site and expertly installed and dismantled while specific requirements can be catered for.
