Ireland’s first next125 Concept Store brings a new dimension of luxury kitchen design to the market

22 Oct, 2026

Ireland’s luxury interiors market welcomes a major new arrival this October with the opening of next125 by Evoke Kitchens in Waterford, the country’s first dedicated next125 Concept Store. Bringing the premium German kitchen brand to Ireland, the new destination sets out a compelling showcase of contemporary living, where architectural precision, exceptional materials and intelligent design meet understated luxury.

Opening to customers by appointment on Friday, 23 October, the 250 square metre showroom presents six kitchens across ten design areas, featuring the latest collections from next125. Developed in collaboration with the brand’s design team in Germany, the space has been curated by Evoke Kitchens in Waterford to showcase the breadth of its design language, from refined minimalism to more expressive material combinations.

Refined and understated luxury is central to the next125 aesthetic. Natural timbers, elegant veneers, glass and ceramic surfaces sit alongside sophisticated colours and tactile finishes, while glazed volcanic stone from Mount Etna introduces a striking natural element in their LavaTech surfaces. Rather than relying on ornament, the designs place emphasis on proportion, texture and detail, creating kitchens that feel distinctive, considered and enduring.

The brand’s signature 125mm design grid provides the architectural foundation. This modular system brings consistency and balance to cabinetry and components, while allowing flexibility in the configuration of individual kitchens. Behind the clean lines lies a focus on ergonomics and everyday performance, with carefully planned storage, working areas and intelligent internal systems ensuring that design works as beautifully in practice as it does visually.

For Evoke Kitchens, the opening marks the biggest development in its 12-year history. Founded in Waterford by Declan Furlong and his father, Colm, the independent business has worked with next125 and its parent company Schüller since 2017. Its selection as the home of Ireland’s first dedicated next125 Concept Store reflects a relationship built on shared design values and a commitment to exceptional quality.

“Having next125 place its confidence in us to create Ireland’s first dedicated Concept Store is a huge moment for Evoke. We have spent 12 years building our business in Waterford, and this is the next chapter for the team at Evoke,” says Declan Furlong, Managing Director of Evoke Kitchens.

“What makes next125 so special is the balance between design and practicality. The proportions are beautiful, the materials are exceptional, and there is real intelligence behind how each kitchen works. We wanted to create a space where people could experience that quality first-hand and discover what is possible when every detail is considered.”

Waterford was a deliberate choice for the new destination, with Evoke and next125 aiming to attract customers from across Ireland rather than confining the concept to the capital. Already serving customers from the South East, Dublin, the Midlands and Cork, Evoke is building on its reputation, quickly establishing a national destination for premium kitchen design.

The showroom itself has been designed as an experience. Visitors pass through the existing Evoke showroom before ascending to a dedicated next125 environment that spans the entirety of the building’s top floor. Upon entry, dark finishes, atmospheric lighting and a concealed entrance create a striking transition. The kitchens are revealed progressively, allowing each composition and its materials to be appreciated individually. Combining German engineering, ergonomic innovation and exceptional materiality with local expertise, next125 by Evoke brings a new international design experience to Ireland and offers fresh inspiration for homeowners, architects and interior designers seeking a more considered approach to luxury. It truly is designed to be experienced.
