Momentum is building at the recently redeveloped Donnybrook House and U+I is pleased to announce the first of its lettings at the Dublin 4 location. U+I has reached an agreement with Raw Gyms as the first name on the Donnybrook House roster to call the building home.
Raw Gyms has secured a long-term lease for three floors of the property, with fitting-out of the new 19,375 sq. ft. gym due to commence in the coming weeks, ahead of the scheduled opening in May 2019.
Renowned for their atmosphere, Raw Gyms now has sights set on entering the premium market, with the new facility to include bespoke studios with Les Mills classes, a large free weights and functional zone, tailored boxing zones, boutique changing rooms along with towel service as standard, and a steam room to unwind. The state-of-the-art gym will also be equipped with top of the range Hammer Strength equipment, yoga and pilates studios, and with premium personal training packages also available.
Arlene Van Bosch, U+I’s Development Director for Dublin, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Raw Gyms to Donnybrook House, a high-spec development which we knew would attract top calibre tenants. The team at Raw will be an excellent addition to the local community in Donnybrook. As a hub for ambitious businesses, this will further enrich the neighbourhood, setting a new benchmark for commercial space in South Dublin. We are delighted with the progress we are making, and with the calibre of occupiers that the building is attracting. We look forward to announcing further lettings in due course.”
John Kenirons, Managing Director at Raw Gyms said, “We are especially delighted to open in Donnybrook which has been on our horizon for some time. This is an exciting step for us as we continue with our expansion plan for Dublin. We took our time scoping the right location and Donnybrook House is perfectly situated in the heart of Donnybrook, convenient for people living and working locally and for those passing through. We have big plans to develop this into one of our signature training facilities that we know locals will enjoy. The demand for membership across Dublin has exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to being part of the local community.”
Donnybrook House is a flagship development in the heart of Donnybrook village. Award-winning architects Henry J. Lyons redesigned the landmark building to create a unique scheme specifically catering to the demands of the modern office occupier, particularly those in the communications and technology sectors. Situated in close proximity to the cluster of international technology firms headquartered in Dublin 2 and 4, Donnybrook House is proving to be an exciting proposition for many organisations seeking to make an impactful statement. An ambitious project comprising approximately 45,000 sq. ft. of office space, a 4,000 sq. ft. restaurant, 2,000 sq. ft. café and the 19,000 sq. ft. of gym facilities, Donnybrook House caters to all tastes in one of the most vibrant, sought-after areas of the city.
Interest in the remaining floors of the building is strong, with further office and retail deals expected to be announced in the short term.
